SINOPSIS:

Un asasin necunoscut penetreaza o locatie secreta subterana a Agentiei de Securitate Nationala din Virginia, si ucide 16 agenti ASN. Agentul Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) scapa, si trebuie sa afle cine a spart securitatea si de ce. Gibbons trebuie sa recruteze un nou agent XXX pentru a-i face munca murdara. Gibbons gaseste barbatul perfect, un fost Ofiter de Marina Militara si un membru al unitatii sale vechi. Insa, Darius Stone (Ice Cube) a fost pus intr-o inchisoare militare pentru 20 de ani, deoarece nu s-a supus unui ordin direct al Generalului George Deckert (Willem Dafoe), si de asemenea i-a rupt si falca.
Gibbons il scoate pe Stone din inchisoare, si il pune la lucru. Stone decopera ca Deckert, care este acum secretarul de aparare, pune la care un plan de a-l ucide pe Presedintele Statelor Unite urmand sa ocupe locul acestuia, ca noul Presedinte al Statelor Unite. Darius Stone are alte planuri si merge sa-l opreasca pe Deckert.
